LINGRID
Terms of Use
These terms apply to the LINGRID app. They supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if they conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.
1. Use of the app
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not copy, resell or redistribute the app or its puzzles.
2. Free puzzles and diamonds
You can open up to 3 new level puzzles for free each day; the daily puzzle is free. Diamonds are an in-game item earned by playing and can be used to open more puzzles. Diamonds have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or refunded, and are lost if you delete the app, because they are stored only on your device. We may change game rules, prices in diamonds and rewards in future versions. The app currently offers no purchases with real money.
3. Fair play
Leaderboards are provided through Apple Game Center. Do not manipulate the game (for example by changing your device clock) to gain an advantage. Game Center's own terms apply to leaderboards and achievements.
4. Content
The puzzles, clues and design of LINGRID are protected by copyright. Word levels are based on the CEFR-J Wordlist Version 1.5, compiled by Yukio Tono, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. LINGRID is a learning game: we work to keep translations accurate but cannot guarantee that every clue fits every context.
5. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
